JAMAICA wins AFNA Tournament 2008

KINGSTOWN, St Vincent: Jamaica outclassed Trinidad and Tobago to win the 2008 Americas Federation of Netball Association, AFNA, Friday in St Vincent.

The Jamaicans led in all quarters and ended the game with a 53-32 victory.

The tournament started last Sunday with Barbados, Canada, St Lucia and host St Vincent and the Grenadines as the other teams in the tournament.

In other games played Friday, Barbados defeated Canada 58-44 and St Lucia beat St Vincent and the Grenadines 40-38

The tournament ended with Jamaica at the top, Trinidad and Tobago second, Barbados third, St Lucia fourth, St Vincent and the Grenadines fifth and Canada in the cellar position
